New Florida Beach rules prohibit people from hanging up “beach party” signs or “beaching party” posters, but that’s not stopping people from painting them.
The new rule goes into effect July 1.
The rules allow people to create their own “beaches party” and “beached party” flags, while those in the public space must leave their signs in place.
The rules also allow anyone to decorate the sand, waves and other elements in front and in back of the beach.
They also allow people with disabilities to be on the beach for a day, which is a new requirement for the rule.
The beach was last inspected in October for a potential risk of health issues due to excessive sand and water pollution, according to a memo from the city.
